Omega Seamaster Diver 300M: James Bond Edition meets Spectre Edition
Omega’s two new 42 mm Seamaster Diver 300M references take the Bond connection in different directions. The James Bond Edition, 210.30.42.20.03.004, combines a blue wave dial with a titanium relief bezel. The Spectre Edition, 210.30.42.20.01.023, trades that blue signature for a grained black dial, a black ceramic relief bezel and Spectre details on the back.

James Bond Edition
210.30.42.20.03.004
The blue-dial Omega Seamaster Diver 300M James Bond Edition pairs the familiar wave motif with a sculpted titanium diving bezel. Reference 210.30.42.20.03.004 has a 42 mm stainless steel case and a steel mesh bracelet, giving it a different texture and character from the usual ceramic-bezel Diver 300M.

Spectre Edition
210.30.42.20.01.023
The Omega Seamaster Diver 300M Spectre Edition takes the 42 mm steel Diver 300M in a darker direction. Reference 210.30.42.20.01.023 combines a grained black dial with a black ceramic relief bezel and a steel mesh bracelet. The Spectre identity continues on the back, with an engraved caseback and a black Spectre logo on the movement rotor.

What is shared, and what changes?
Both editions use a 42 mm stainless steel case and a steel mesh bracelet. Each is powered by Omega’s no-date Calibre 8806, an automatic Co-Axial Master Chronometer with a 55-hour power reserve and resistance to magnetic fields reaching 15,000 gauss. Both retain the Diver 300M’s helium escape valve and 300-metre water-resistance rating.

Why the names matter
“James Bond Edition” and “Spectre Edition” identify two separate references here, not interchangeable nicknames. Spectre refers to the organization in the Bond universe. The black watch covered on this page is a Seamaster Diver 300M; it should not be confused with the earlier Seamaster 300 Spectre. Use the complete reference number when asking us to locate one.
Which one would we choose?
The blue James Bond Edition suits someone who wants the familiar visual identity of an Omega diving watch, with the wave dial doing much of the talking. The black Spectre Edition is the quieter-looking alternative from the front, with its Bond-world connection revealed more directly on the caseback and rotor. The shared movement and case dimensions mean the meaningful choice is mostly about design, rather than a difference in basic performance.
