Why Cubitus Wears Larger Than a Number Suggests

A quadrangular case occupies the wrist differently from a rounded one. Corner-to-corner span, broad dial surface and first bracelet links can make Cubitus feel larger than a conventional diameter comparison suggests. Nautilus references also vary, but their curved outline usually presents a different edge profile.

Try both watches with the bracelet correctly sized. Observe overhang at the case corners, articulation of the first links, clasp position and total weight. Precious metal can materially change the result. Front-on photographs flatten these differences, so side and wrist views are essential.
